Job description
Our client based in Thatcham is looking to hire a Flexi Forklift Driver to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position.
You will be required to operate a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. You must be a responsible individual with good experience driving industrial vehicles. Flexibility to join the warehouse team to ensure a safe and organised environment.
Static Shift Available:
- 14:00pm to 22:00pm
- Monday to Friday.
- 39hrs per week
Pay Rate:
- £14.59 per hour
Duties Required:
- Use of FLT to pick and pack completed products
- Use of scanning equipment
- Unload/load materials and merchandise from incoming/outgoing vehicles and stack them to assigned locations
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Transport to production workstations
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance checks
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
- Paperwork completion
- Parking of all vehicles at the end of every day
Qualification & Skills Required:
- Forklift Licence required
- Physically fit due to nature of work
- Effective communicator
