Job description
We are looking for a flexible and motivated individual with agricultural experience to join our Farm team on a casual basis to provide additional support during our harvest period and through to November, 2023.
Your duties
You will provide support to our harvest operations and assist our farm team on key tasks over this busy period for the farm. You will operate a range of farm machinery as required to contribute to the smooth running of the farm estate including tractors, trailers and cultivation equipment. The hours will be variable to reflect the needs of the business and to provide support when it is required.
Person specification
You will have previous experience of working in an arable and/or livestock business and have proven experience in the safe use and maintenance of a range of farm vehicles and machinery. You will have previous experience of handling cattle and sheep and hold a telehandler certificate. You will have a flexible approach to you work to be able to meet seasonal and business needs including the ability to work at evenings and weekends. You will be able to demonstrate a genuine commitment to the efficient running of a mixed farm enterprise.
