Front End Associate
The New Inn at Cropton is a family owned and operated country inn with 11 letting rooms and an on-site brewery located just out of Pickering on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors . We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and dependable individual to join our team as a Front End Associate.
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this position is to be responsible for the front of the house, including greeting guests, answering questions, helping with food and beverage orders, taking payments, and assisting with the day-to-day operations. This position will also assist in maintaining the appearance of the restaurant and performing cleaning duties. The position is Full Time and the working days/hours can be negotiated for the successful candidate.
We do have the option of a live-in position in our on-site shared staff house if required.
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; must be able to prioritize tasks; must be able to remain calm under pressure
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member in a professional manner; must be able to communicate effectively; must be able to follow instructions; must be able to follow all food and beverage procedures and procedures for opening and closing shifts; must be able to follow opening and closing procedures for this position; must maintain cleanliness standards at all times; strong attention to detail required;
