Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club (Deal) is recruiting for the position of Front of House server
Royal Cinque Ports in Deal, Kent, is one of the country’s premier Members’ clubs, with an 18 hole Championship golf course, regarded as one of the finest in the world. Twice host of the Open Championship, as well as many other prestigious championships. The Club is looking to add to its dedicated, professional, and enthusiastic team by recruiting a Front of House server.
The Club is seeking an individual who can help Front of House team to consistently deliver an excellent standard of service, as well as provide a proactive spirit to a small team of enthusiastic staff.
The clubhouse operation provides a range of services, from bar meals and specials, to functions, lunches, and dinners. The Club operates, generally, from 7.30am-8.00pm, 7 days per week. In addition to the daily service, the Club also occasionally has evening functions. A working week would typically be around 20-30 hours, 5 days per week, with no split shifts. The Club is offering a very competitive rate of pay in a nice working environment.
The team is made up of hard working, positive, and highly capable individuals, you will be expected to service day to day alongside, and under the authority of, the Clubhouse Supervisor. The role includes day to day bar service of drinks, bar food, setting up the dining room for functions and assisting in the delivery of functions. The Club is looking for someone who is highly motivated, forward thinking, and proactive. The right candidate will have a background in catering and hospitality, experience of 1 year minimum in a high volume catering environment preferred.
You would be expected to be able to work weekdays, weekends and some evenings.
