An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly organised and numerate Finance and Grants Assistant to join the small finance and research grants teams providing financial management services to the Department of Experimental Psychology.
The position is fixed term until 31 March 2026 and is full-time although part-time (minimum of 20 hours per week) would be considered.
Currently located in the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, we will be moving to the new, purpose-built Life and Mind Building a multidisciplinary research and teaching facility due to open in 2024.
The successful candidate will be educated to at least GCSE or equivalent, with a financial qualification or significant experience in a finance role. Excellent communication and IT skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential requirements as well as a tactful and confidential approach. Experience of financial administration and/or working in an academic or research environment would be an advantage.
