We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team and help us provide excellent service to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area, and ensuring that all safety and hygiene standards are met. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking, be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of food items.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Organise and store food items in the refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage areas.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Label and date all food containers and rotate as per health code regulations.
- Assist with dishwashing as needed.
- Clean and sanitise work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Night shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Stirling: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
