The Senior Food Safety & Quality Manager will be responsible for providing support to your team that will advise Operations, Supply Chain, Training and Marketing on all matters relating to food safety and quality compliance. Develop PDPs and strategy to implement best practice within the business. The candidate will be responsible for: Work with external contacts including local councils, state government departments and technical providers to ensure that they meet all legislative requirements Ensure the brand integrity is maintained at all times through the development and implementation of the food safety & quality program Full ownership of implementing standards and policies for food safety across the organisation. Consult with Store Operations on and local regulatory issues/or incident management. Create and drive development plans for a team of 4 (6 total indirectly) of which you have responsibility for Create and implement the strategy for the team Opportunity to manage a team |Very flexible working The ideal candidate will have a background in: Degree qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or other closely related field - BSc minimum Experience in a food safety and quality management role Demonstrated knowledge of food safety laws and legislations Team management experience a MUST Must be strategic and a big picture thinker Ability to work autonomously and own a function, providing coaching and advisory skills to key stakeholders.
