Food Retailer 30-40hrs per week

We have a position available for an experienced food retailer at our Saltwater and Porterhouse restaurants in the Fenwick Food Hall, Newcastle.

The position would be ideal for an enthusiastic person with great customer service skills and a love of working with the finest meat and seafood.

Responsibilities:

• Working flexibly within the retail team.
• Offering an outstanding customer experience in line with our business ethos
• Display a proficient level of cookery skill in line with the company standards, philosophy and our customer expectations.
• Working alongside the kitchen team but having a focus on retailing a great range of raw and cooked products to our loyal customer base.
• Excellent Hygiene and presentational standards.
• Use of our till system.
• Be knowledgeable about our range of products
• Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Be helpful and friendly and feel comfortable working with the public
• To be enthusiastic, committed and self motivated
• Adopts a "can do attitude" to challenging situations
• Has a flexible approach to working hours

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

Salary: Up to £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Newcastle Upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
