JOB TITLE: Food and Beverage Assistant/Bar-Person - Parisien, Belfast
JOB REFERENCE: FBCP 09/23
REPORTING TO: Restaurant Operations Manager
HOURS: Parisien Belfast is opened from Thursday-Sunday weekly. Part-time and Full-time positions available, shifts based on 2-4 days out of 7. Restaurant operating days may be subject to change when the venue is privately hired.
JOB LOCATION: Parisien Belfast BT1 5GA (opposite the City Hall)
SALARY: £11.42-£13.42 per hour pay scale

Job Description:
Main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming all guests to the restaurant in a friendly, polite manner.
- With training, have full and complete knowledge of all food/beverage and wine menus enabling you to help with any guest queries.
- Present menus, take orders and serve food and beverage professionally and efficiently ensuring our guests have everything they need.
- Cleaning and resetting tables and keeping all areas of the restaurant neat and tidy.
- Mixing and serving up all hot and cold beverages in the restaurant dispense bar during service ensuring all beverages are delivered on time.
- Using the restaurant till systems to place orders and process customer payments correctly.
- Carrying out daily duties as required by the restaurant management team.
- Directing any guest complaints to the Restaurant Manager.
- Ensuring that your knowledge of the Resort and facilities is up to date in order to upsell to guests if the opportunity arises.
- Make sure your personal appearance and uniform are in line with the required Resort standards at all times.
- Observe all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
- Attend any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.
The Person:
Applicant must:
- Have at least 1-year of previous waiting/bar experience.
- Barista trained.
- Have a passion for the hospitality industry, great food, and great service.
- Be an excellent team player with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work morning, daytime, evenings, and weekends.
- Have strong communication skills and be able to multitask.
- Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand.
