Contract type: Casual contract Receptionist/kennel assistant With the possibility of extending.

Start date: 1st May 2023 - Contract Ends: 30 September 2023

Shifts 8:00am to 5:00pm - 8.5 Hours a day

Job Purpose:

We are looking to add a member of staff to our growing team, this job involves admin skills, however we are looking for someone who can carry out kennel jobs also. You will be helping with our morning routine, which involves the preparation of animal feeds, cleaning and disinfecting kennels and administering medications. We pride ourselves on attention to detail, so being thorough is essential. Greeting new and existing customers, answering phone calls, emails and/or directing these communications to the correct staff members. Making customers and visitors feel welcome and answering all their questions and queries.

This is a fast paced, physical role.

*Experience working with animals is desired but not essential*

Receptionist Job Duties:

· Taking and directing calls.

· Completing administrative tasks like answering our phone and delivering and accepting emails.

· Cleaning, organising, and maintaining the reception area.

· Keeping basic office supplies like pens stocked and accessible to visitors.

· Ordering supplies for the rest of the office.

· Checking in visitors and customers using Avalon software.

· Greeting visitors to the facility warmly and offering them help immediately.

· Providing top quality customer support.

· Answering questions about products or services offered at the business.

· Carrying out tours of the premises.

· Answering questions about office hours.

· Interacting with all staff members and informing staff of necessary information.

· End of day Banking to be completed daily.

· Representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance.

Receptionist/kennel assistant Skills and Qualifications: Friendliness, Experience working with animals, cleaning skills, timekeeping skills, Knowledge of the Business, Attentiveness, Good Memory, Communication, Services Knowledge, Helpfulness, Organisation, Filing, sorting orders, Answering Phones, Multi-tasking, Customer Support, Scheduling, Sales, Marketing.
