Roaming Food & Beverage Support & Trainer – Hand Picked Hotels – UK & Channel Islands
Are you an experienced Food & Beverage professional looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy travel and feel ready to explore the UK & Channel islands?
We have a unique opportunity for someone to join the Hand Picked Hotels team in a Roaming Food & Beverage Support & Trainer role.
You will work alongside one other Food & Beverage Support & Trainer across our 21 Hotels in the UK & Channel Islands on assignments lasting between 2-4 weeks. You will be provided Hotel accommodation when on assignments in our Hotels and will know your plan at least one month in advance.
This is full time role working 40 hours per week, with any overtime paid and we are proposing the successful candidate will work 10 days on and 4 days off.
In this Food & Beverage Support & Trainer role you will support the Hotel F&B, Restaurant & Events Managers and their teams with service delivery as well as helping to train team members and new starters, giving tips and advice to help improve their knowledge and and standards of service delivery. As many of our Hotels have 2 Rosette Restaurants, you will have some fine dining and wedding/events experience as well as bar, wines and cocktail knowledge.
Having your own transport is preferred, but is not essential.
About you
- You will have at least two years’ experience working in a Food & Beverage role at a Supervisory level as a Head Bartender with mixology experience or within the restaurant at management level of a high end restaruant operation.
- You’ll be excellent at building rapport and will have a vibrant, patient and friendly approach.
- It is essential you are fully flexible with regards to hours and shifts worked and ready to travel on an assignment basis
- You must be able to demonstrate a keen eye for detail and be able to deliver high standards of service consistently in order to inspire and guide others to do the same.
