Job description

Part time F&B Assistant - 4.5 hours a day - Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from 10 am

To assist in the service and preparation of food and beverages to a range of customers, based at one of our sites on the Birmingham Business Park.

Person Specification

You will be hard working, able to plan ahead effectively and be able to adapt well into our team. With a keen eye for detail, it is imperative that each site is fully stocked, clean, and service is always with a smile.

Duties

1. For 3 days a week, set up of all front of house food areas prior to service periods, ensuring all areas are clean, presentable and accessible for the clients based within our Uniper site

2. Assisting in the preparation/loading of food items, salads, sandwiches, pre portions etc. as directed by the team leader at our Citibase site in order that the full menu of items can be provided

3. Serve and assemble hot and cold food for customers to ensure both a fast and courteous standard of service, with the emphasis being on excellent customer service

4. Assist in operating the Micro Market till to process card payments in order that customers can settle their bill accurately and timorously

5. On occasions, assist in preparing and delivering corporate buffets for the clients based at the site

6. Wash all pots, cooking and serving equipment as per the requirements of the Food Hygiene Management System

7. Undertake cleaning duties to include general cleaning of front of house areas, the Micro Market equipment, shelves, fridges etc as well as cleaning kitchen surfaces including fridges and freezer units, as part of legal requirement to provide a clean and hygienically safe catering environment both at the unit and off site

8. Build relationships with the facilities team on sites, and also with the Saffron team generally

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £6.00-£10.50 per hour
