TECHNICAL SEO SPECIALIST
We are currently recruiting for a Technical SEO Specialist to join our very successful client who are a busy full-service digital marketing agency based near Ormskirk. Our client works with a wide range of clients across multiple different sectors and due to their success and proven and effective strategies they have rapidly expanded over the past 12 months. They have made some very exciting changes / additions to the services they offer, and their growth is not slowing down so it’s a great time to join a genuinely brilliant team.
This role would be perfect for an experienced SEO Specialist with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within an agency environment and are looking for the next step in their career, or you may already be doing a similar role and you are looking for an exciting new challenge. - Please note that due to our clients location you must be able to drive and have access to your own car to be considered for the role
- Salary is dependent on experience, in the region of £30k to £45k
- Monday to Friday working hours

A SNAPSHOT OF THE TECHNICAL SEO SPECIALIST’S DAY:
- Carry out regular site audits for clients and make recommendations for optimisation based on your findings
- Reporting back to stakeholders making recommendations for improvements and explaining the thought process behind these
- Working closely with the SEO, PPC and Developers to make on-page recommendations based on keyword searches
- Supporting developers with website launches and migrations
- Continually reviewing SEO performance by ranking and visibility
- Ensuring all strategies are executed to a high standard and delivered on time
- Communicating any potential issues to the wider team
- Identifying opportunities for the business
- Report on client satisfaction
- Daily use of the following platforms: Google Search Console Google Analytics, Semrush, AHREFS, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Sitebulb and others
- This is a busy and varied role.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Have previous professional experience in an SEO role
- Previous experience working in a Digital Marketing agency or similar
- Be a champion for SEO best practice
- Have an understanding of basic HTML/CSS, JS Libraries, PHP and / or Python
- Have an understanding of browser development tools such as Lighthouse, Dataslayer, Tag Assistant or similar
- Be a positive team manager and player
- Passionate about all things digital!
- Have a team spirit and be able to work productively and positive with people across the business
- Have the desire to continually keep learning and personally developing.
