Job Description
The Campanile Bradford is looking to expand their team! We are looking for a Restaurant team member, for minimum 16 hours per week up to 40hours.
Working in our bar and restaurant you will be making sure every customer who stays with us has a great experience from the moment they arrive, to when they leave. You will be working up to 4 up to 5 days per week over a variety of shifts. Breakfast shifts start from 0615 and a finish up to 1500 or Earlier. Evening shifts start from around 1445 up to 2300. Uniform, full training and meals on shift are provided.
What you will be doing
- Delivering a great customer service at every stage of our customer journey
- Listening to customers, managing any requests or issues with genuine warmth and interest
- Working together with your colleagues to deliver consistently great customer service – writing a clear handover for the next shift
- Learning about what is happening in your hotel and the local area and sharing this with the rest of the team and customers
- Keeping customers safe by following health and safety procedures, including regular fire and safety walks during each shift
- Following cash and banking procedures
- Serve customers in our Bar & Restaurant area, upselling where possible
- Clearing tables and resetting for the next customers
- Filling up the fridges with stock and ensuring stock rotation is done
- Following shift procedures and ensuring all relevant documents are filled in
- Promote the food and drinks offering to customers from our bar-cafe menu and up sell products for each order
- Pre-empt problems before they arise and resolve promptly when they do
- Setting conferences/Weddings and function rooms

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a genuine passion for customer service and be comfortable working in a team. You will be confident dealing with customers and recognizing opportunities for additional sales.
