Job description
- MUST HAVE – Electronic Foreign Exchange (eFX) as a Business Analyst with Front/Middle/Back Office experience. Hugely beneficial if they have Murex exposure.
- The job descriptions are all uploaded in iCIMS and looking to onboard individuals in July / early August 2023. Hence, will need individuals with the authorisation to work in the UK.
- Due to the urgent nature of requirement, we can only consider exceptional candidates with exact skills match and have short / 1 month notice period or are immediately available

- Travel to client office 2-3 days per week in London
THE ROLE:
The role sits within our development team who look after the requirements for the eFX business. The Analyst should be able to understand eFX business and the systems that are in this space from trade capture to life cycle events.
Responsibilities
- Understanding requirements and translating into technical solutions,
- Guiding trading staff and often providing solutions that offer workarounds when requirement cannot be easily met without development.
- Working closely with Business, Architects, developers, and existing system IT representatives, gathering their input and collaborating to reach optimum results.
- Working closely with Test Analysts to construct relevant tests per functional requirements,
- Liaising with the vendors to ensure compatibility of integration designs with other downstream systems,
- Working according to the agile framework in place for the project team.
General
- Must have working experience with similar technology space in eFX development including integration, implementation or migration,
- Demonstrable experience of working across the full SDLC,
- Good FX product understanding and the life cycle events associated with them,
- Good communicator skills to engage end-users,
- Collaborating with Front Office, Product and Tech Leads to contribute to eFX roadmap.
- Proven experience of working in eFX,
- Strong knowledge of FX cash Products – FXSpot, FxForwards, TimeOptions etc,
- Familiarity with market-data, FIX protocol, trading venues and market-making,
- Excellent communication skills,
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- eFX Chain Applications – SmartTrade (or similar) FX, FX OMS, 360T, Murex,
- Agile / Scrum – able to work as part of a squad and understand the core rituals and way of working,
- Continuous Delivery concepts and change management processes.
