Superstar Food and Beverage Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Food and Beverage team at the Linton Lodge Oxford a Best Western Signature Collection . We are looking for enthusiastic, genuine people who are flexible, well organised and have desire to work in the hospitality industry.

Reporting to: Food and Beverage Manager/Supervisor

Responsible for: Providing outstanding customer service and support in the food and beverage department.

Vision: To delight our guests with an unforgettable dining experience and make every meal a memorable occasion.

Purpose: To be part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional food and beverage service with a smile, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Service:

  • Be the ultimate host, greeting our guests with a warm and friendly smile.
  • Take orders with lightning speed and precision, answering any questions and providing recommendations with confidence.
  • Serve food and beverages like a pro, ensuring each dish is presented with panache.
  • Clear tables like a ninja, ensuring a clean and tidy dining environment.
  • Set up dining areas with flair, ensuring they are picture-perfect at all times.
  • Prepare and serve beverages and snacks with style.

Operations:

  • Be a stickler for following all company policies and procedures, including those relating to health and safety, food hygiene, and customer service.
  • Keep a watchful eye on stock levels, reporting any discrepancies to the Food and Beverage Manager/Supervisor.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, including equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager/Supervisor in other duties as required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Salary: £12.50 per hour

  • Oxford OX2 6UJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
