We are now recruiting for dynamic and passionate apprentices to join our Food and Beverage Department at Delta Marriott Huntingdon.
You will need to be enthusiastic and hardworking and ready to contribute towards the perfect customer experience.
As part of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for:
- Working across all of the hotels outlets including the Bar, conference suite, Market Kitchen restaurant and Room Service.
- Working on events as part of the set up and/or clear down teams or servicing the events.
- Working as part of our Wedding operational team to deliver outstanding memories on the most unique of occasions.
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences and actively ensuring guests expectations are met and any queries answered.

As an Apprentice you will be included on a Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship. Your qualification will be delivered by Inspiro Learning who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Regional Trainer coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.
Future Prospects:
As the company is an international brand the candidate could develop through Marriott Hotels or around the world depending on the opportunities, skills and the candidate.
Skills required:
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, listening, writing)
- Pro-active and reliable
- Able to work within a team
- Previous experience working within a similar environment preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
- Accurate and efficient cash handling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and outgoing personality and an ability to interact with people at all levels
- Ability to work under pressure and juggle competing priorities in a busy, fast paced and challenging environment with minimum supervision
- Ability to take initiative and resolve queries in a practical and positive manner
Things to consider:
Due to the nature of the business you will be required to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays and will be often be on your feet for the entirety of the shift.

Salary: £320.00-£416.80 per week

Work Location: In person
