We are seeking fun, customer-focused and energetic team members to join our iconic Heavenly Desserts store in Newcastle. We are the UK’s leading premium dessert company offering our guests a world-class experience while serving the finest desserts and exquisite beverages.
Job Summary and Mission:
- To contribute to Heavenly Desserts success by providing world class customer service to all of our guests.
- To create the Heavenly Desserts experience for our guests by providing courteous, prompt service, quality beverages and desserts, and maintaining a clean and comfortable restaurant environment.
- All employees are responsible for acting in accordance with our culture and values, embracing and upholding the company culture in everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a large team to create picture-perfect desserts and drinks from our extensive menu.
- To uphold the Heavenly Desserts premium service experience consistently for all our guests.
- Taking customer orders, serving customers and providing excellent customer service.
- Upholding compliance towards all health and safety, food safety guidelines, following policies and procedures and maintaining a spotlessly clean working environment.
- Must be available to work between the hours of 8:00am and 01:00am and have access to reliable transportation
- A minimum of one-year catering/food handling/customer service experience is preferred, however, training will be provided to the right candidates
- Prepare, present & serve our desserts to the highest possible standard for each and every guest by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
- Build relationships with fellow team members of respect and courteous, and be a proud ambassador of Heavenly Desserts.
- Maintain a clean and organised work place so that employees can locate resources and products as needed.
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks without prompting.
- Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of Heavenly Desserts.
- Anticipates guest and business needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
- Communicate information to the Manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create a premium environment during each shift.
- Presents oneself professionally, be well-groomed, ensure adherence to health and safety rules and quality store operations standards are met or exceeded.
