Many of our people at Virgin work flexibly and in many different ways, including part-time or different core hours. Please talk to us at your application or interview stage about the flexibility you need. We can't promise to give you exactly what you want, but we are happy to explore what's possible for the role.

In a nutshell

At Virgin Atlantic, our purpose is to ensure everyone can take on the world. Our vision is to be the most loved travel company. To achieve both, we're harnessing our spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation to reimagine the world and create thoughtful experiences that feel brilliantly different at every opportunity.

Our people are game changers who see the world differently. Acting as a loud and proud voice for positive change for our people, places, and the planet, they're not afraid to roll up their sleeves to take on the big things while never forgetting the importance of the small details. So, if you're ready to take your career to new heights, read on.

In this exciting role, you will be the Overall owner for our Flying Club performance across multiple domains including P&L, acquisition/engagement, and Flying Club experience, supporting Head of Loyalty in ensuring Flying Club is fulfilling its role as an engine for satisfaction, engagement, and revenue for Virgin Atlantic.

Day to day

Some of your key responsibilities as our Flying Club Performance Manager will be:

  • Setting up processes, reporting, targets, and clear accountabilities to safeguard performance.
  • Build trusted, senior relationships with Commercial teams and partners to effectively trade Flying Club and drive redemption revenue.
  • Collaborate with CRM and touchpoint owners across the end-to-end journey to ensure acquisition, engagement, and satisfaction are delivered.
  • Lead and empower a small team, giving clear day-to-day responsibility. Work with leaders to drive the planning process for delivering multi-year targets within our current strategy and beyond, ensuring that roadmaps and forecasting are anticipating future requirements for multi-year success of Flying Club.
  • Act as the single accountable owner for Flying Club reporting and commentary at all levels from intra-team to board papers and liaising with finance.

About you

You might come from a Commercial Manager or Performance Manager role.

In addition to the above, we'd love for our successful candidate to demonstrate the following:
  • Experience in delivering performance targets in a commercial context
  • Understanding of points-based loyalty programmes is helpful as is an understanding of customer lifecycle, acquisition, and engagement within the context of a loyalty and CRM environment
  • High levels of communicating and influencing are required - nothing is achievable without actions and cooperation from other partners.
  • Should be comfortable communicating with VPs and Analysts alike, making complex and sophisticated ideas simple and compelling, whilst retaining the flexibility to adjust and adapt as needed.

If this sounds like you, and you would like to unlock your potential with us, we would love to hear from you!
