You will be the conduit between warehouse operations and the engineering team, co-ordinating engineers to faults and blockages, maximising the APSS availability though coordinating and leading Continuous Improvement activities with senior stakeholders.

You will be responsible for making timely business critical decisions based upon the data feeding into the flow room, ensuring bottlenecks and single points of failures are adequately managed; ensuring all mail types are processed on time by instructing and influencing managers within the operation. You will manage Vehicle flow through the yard management system (YMS) to ensure that vehicle movements to dock are managed to maximise efficiency of internal flow, yard utilisation and trailer utilisation.
