Scope -Flight Planning Analyst
Provide a single point of accountability and responsibility
during the flight management activity from 18 hours prior to
departure and 6 hours post departure. Deliver for the
customer at a consignment level for all cargo bookings whilst
maintain optimal earnings per flight, legislative requirements
and minimising the commercial impact of operational
disruption.

Accountabilities
  • Understanding user and Company requirements and feeding
these into applicable systems / processes / procedures.
  • Evaluates bookings based on rate, demand and capacity
available by using information across all cargo
systems/databases.
  • Detailed understanding and management of complex
systems, procedures and processes within the specialist area.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory authority facility
requirements
  • Operational and commercial decision making to achieve KPIs
and to maximise customer satisfaction & business revenue.
  • Reconciles and actions the operational plan handed over by
our external supplier at -18hrs to departure and actions space
available for the relevant departments.
  • Identifies and implements additional opportunities to
increase available capacity to cargo from other unused
quotas.
  • Check conformance and data integrity to ensure that cargo
sold accurately reflects confirmed bookings
  • Manifest consignments from Ascentis and complete the
necessary special cargo notifications prior to aircraft dispatch

Qualifications / experience
  • I have customer service experience
  • I have experience in warehouse, logistics or
transport operations
  • I am IT literate and am able to learn
appropriate systems
  • Holds an Airside Pass or able to qualify for one
  • Handling and processing of Dangerous Goods
to IATA requirements - where applicable
  • Technical / mandatory qualification(s) as
required for specialist role
  • Detailed understanding of other departments
in the operations to ensure sound decision
making within the scope of the role
  • Expert knowledge of applicable systems,
health & safety, process and legislative /
regulatory requirements
