MUST HAVE PREVIOUS RETAIL PACKAGING DESIGN EXPERIENCE AND HAVE SAMPLES TO SHOW TO BE CONSIDERED. THIS POSITION IS FULL TIME, IN HOUSE BASED IN MONTREAL.

Position Summary: The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and executing various consumer retail packaging. You will own the packaging process and be responsible for gathering all assets needed to complete packaging for production including images, etc.. Experience in marketing tools such as catalogs and visuals etc... is also required.
This role will create, develop and produce innovative product packaging according to licensing packaging guides and creative innovative new concepts. He/she will be responsible for bringing to life the products features in order to enhance the customer's desire to purchase our products. A resourceful self-starter, driven to achieve positive results, the successful candidate will possess a high level of comfort working in and understanding of the North American retail landscape. The ability to clearly establish priorities independently and to manage a variety of activities at the same time is essential to the successful execution of the role. You must be able to meet deadlines and work at a very fast pace.
Main Responsibilities:
· Design and produce innovative concepts for product packaging. In addition, an asset is experience in POP, retail plan-o-grams, and trade show events.
· Design and produce graphic standard guides for the various internal brands/products and licensed products.
· Understand, manage, and meet the tight deadlines for design needs of the company and production line
· Project management of multiple design projects at once
· Develop mock ups and storyboards for presentations
· Miscellaneous design layouts and in-house projects as they arise
· Must be able to do A+ content for web.
Requirements:
· EXTENSIVE experience in graphic design for consumer RETAIL packaging A MUST
· Excellent problem solving skills and ability to meet short deadlines is A MUST
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Bachelor's degree or college diploma in graphic design
· Expert knowledge using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite and 3D Software
· Experience in creating/designing POP displays and plan-o-grams using 3D software

Salary: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
