ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Flight Attendant at Aero, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests while providing an exceptional experience. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prioritize guest safety and security by complying with all safety procedures and regulations
- Uphold Aero’s policies and procedures (including uniform and grooming standards, such as hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines)
- Conduct preflight checks of safety equipment and the operation of all safety and emergency equipment
- Anticipate and promptly address any medical issues
- Collaborate effectively with the flight crew, fostering open communication and teamwork
- Provide exceptional guest service with confidence and style, while maintaining great attention to detail
- Adapt to operate both scheduled and charter flights as needed
- Work irregular and long hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnights away from base
- Successfully complete all required training (including The Aero Way, FACTS, CPR, and computer-based training)
- Maintain cabin cleanliness and aircraft standard stock
- Other projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ years of Flight Attendant experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Excellent dependability and strong work ethic
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 30 lbs and working comfortably within a cabin with a ceiling height of 5’9”
- Able to respond calmly and appropriately to emergency situations including aircraft evacuations, unusual situations, and turbulence
- 21+ years of age
- Valid passport with the ability to travel in and out of the USA and to all cities/countries
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (fluency in additional languages is a plus)
- Able to report for duty to the airport within 90 minutes of notification during reserve/on call period.
BENEFITS & PAY
- Pay Range: $48,000 for your first year - you will be eligible for an increase each year on your anniversary in this role
- Travel Stipend: $800 per month
- Wellness Stipend: $200 per month
- Per Diem: $25 for a single turn, $35 for two or more turns, $50 for overnights, and $45 for training
- Time Off: accrued vacation, sick, bereavement, and holiday
- Benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, health FSA, dependent care FSA
