Job description
Main Purpose of the Role
Planning and implementing integration of new equipment into existing production lines. Identifying, planning and implementing process improvements with control solutions. Assisting production engineers with electrical fault diagnosis and assisting with upskilling and development of Production Engineers and Line Leaders.
Key Skills
- Technical ability and understanding of automation hardware and software
- An understanding of networked PLC systems with the ability to fault find, modify and perform programming functions
- Knowledge of CMMS
- A clear understanding of electrical and process safety standards
- Project Management
- Working as both part of a team and independently
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
