Job description
Job title: Vehicle Builders Mate
Location: Sheffield
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm + overtime available.
Hourly rate of pay (PAYE): £12.50 per hour
Duration: 12 Weeks Temp to Perm
Qualifications / Experience required:
- Previous experience working as a vehicle builder is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work effectively and use own initiative
- Good communicator at all levels
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation
Key responsibilities:
- Working with various materials including metal, plastic etc
- Use of various air and power tools
- Installing external fittings
- Ensure production timings are met/exceeded
- Follow company rules and adhere to procedures & Health and Safety standards.
- Work as part of a team to produce orders on time and within customer expectation/quality requirements.
- Ensure correct marking up of component parts.
The following applies to all workers paid on a PAYE basis.
How will you be paid?
You will be paid on standard PAYE (pay as you earn). There are no other deductions made to your pay outside of basic tax and national insurance. There is no charge for your payroll being processed.
How often will you be paid?
You will be paid on a weekly basis for the hours you completed the previous week.
Holiday Pay
Your holiday is accrued over a 52-week average at a rate of 12.07% of your hourly rate.
