Job description
This position is for our branch at Unit 6-7, Glasgow Fort Shopping Centre, G34 9DY.
We are currently looking for a trainee fish fryer to come and learn the Blue Lagoon way and to have a long lasting career with us. Because of this no prior experience is required. You will start to learn from day one:
- How we prepare and fry our potatoes
- How we prepare our fish for frying
- How we prepare batters
- How we prepare breaded fish
- And of course learning how to fry up our famous fish and chips for our customers
You will also learn how to plate up and run the pass during a busy service, learning the takeaway and all aspects of what it takes to get great food out to our customers! Our branch can get very busy and require a high level of multitasking, so candidates must be able to cope with a high pressure environment whilst listening to management and team mates on shift, as communication is paramount to a successful service.
