Ward Clerk
Right now, the NHS needs more people to help; reduce patient waiting times, discharge patients safely and allow people who need care to access it.
To achieve this, we have created two new vacancies within our ward management team at Heartlands Hospital. Led by the Ward Manager, you will join an established and vital team who provide critical administrative and co-ordination support to our clinical teams.
These essential positions will have a direct and positive impact on how we care for our patients across our community.
What’s needed to be successful in this role?
Ideally, you’ve worked within a similar capacity, with experience in providing first class administration and customer services. You’ll have excellent communications skills and be confident in dealing with patients, relatives and colleagues.
The workload will be varied and at times challenging, however being able to multitask in an efficient manner whilst maintaining a caring and helpful attitude underpins everything you do.
As we work across all communities within Birmingham and Solihull, you’ll be approachable, reliable, and able to build rapport with team members and patients from a range of cultures and backgrounds.
