What is the role?
This is an exciting opportunity for a customer focused Maintenance Operative to join an experienced Customer Care team helping Persimmon Homes to remain a 5 star builder.
The role typically reports to the Customer Care Operations Manager / Head of Customer Care.
The purpose of the role is to provide a variety of high-quality maintenance works for customers in their new homes, whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The role will include:
- Maintain a well presented, positive, polite, customer centric attitude at all times.
- Provide quality remedial works, in line with the Persimmon Pledge and Customer Care Policies and Procedures.
- Minimise costs associated with remedial works and adhere to the sign-off and cost recording policies, identify all contra-charging opportunities.
- Complete all required online reporting via the Operative App, facilitating accurate record keeping of defect resolution and root cause analysis.
- Liaise with and monitor subcontractors where appropriate, to complete inspections of reported defects, providing full details of agreed works to both the customer and the Customer Care Co-ordinators.
- Comply with responsibilities as defined in the Group's HS&E Policy and ensure compliance throughout team
What experience, qualifications and skills are we looking for?
- Ability to be competent in all aspects of homeowner maintenance, including maintenance of machines and tools
- Joinery experience is required, painting experience is advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence is required
- Excellent customer service skills
- PASMA certificate is advantageous
- First Aid qualification would be advantageous
