Position: First Line Manager
Location: Featherstone
Customer: Collins Aerospace
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Monday – Friday, 3 shift rotation, AM PM Nights.
AM - Start 5:30 13:30.
PM – 13:00 -21:00 then 11:-19:00 on a Friday.
Nights – 4 night Monday - Thursday 20:30 - 06:30.
Packages: This role offers an annual £3000 shift premium, paid monthly.

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Ensure goods in, picking, kitting & despatch teams are carrying out tasks in line with customer demand
- Support Shift Managers in setting up and ending each shift, including the allocation and tracking of workload
- Monitor operative(s) & Team Leaders to ensure they are working in line with H&S and Work Instructions
- Report and log all defects relating to equipment and plant
- Ensure all emergency requests are actioned within the required time frame
- Investigate and record findings relating to customer queries
- Deputising for the Shift Manager in their daily tasks when they are not on site
- Management of ad-hoc and emergency requests from the customer
