First Contact Adviser (National Careers Service WM) Part time
£27,581 - £29,703 Dependant On Experience
To provide careers advice and guidance to National Careers Service customers within the National Careers Service First Contact Centre via Telephone Helpline, Webchat and Email. The National Careers Service provides free careers information, advice, and guidance to both young people (from the age of 13) and adults predominately through face-to-face delivery within the community, website, webchat, and telephone helpline. The Service vision is for individuals to enjoy more rewarding working lives and to create a culture where career development and acquiring new skills are the norm.
This role covers 15 hours per week.
Essential:
You will have:
- Hold, as a minimum, Level 4 Diploma in Careers Information and Advice or NVQ 4 in Advice & Guidance
- Experience in delivery of careers advice to adults, individually or in groups, employed and unemployed
- High level of competency, effective operation and use of ICT including its wider application e.g. use of social media
- Skilled and competent in delivering careers advice in a range of settings and through a range of delivery modes
- Able to work in a target driven environment, and ability to meet or exceed contract targets
