NIGHT Senior Care Assistant - Beautiful Nursing Home -Private Sector

- Negotiable Salary: £11.40 - £11.90 per hour negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
- Hours: Full time / Part time (22h/33h/44h available)
- Shifts - Nights only
- Contract type: Permanent

We want to ensure each one of our residents feels at home. Right now, we are looking for an experienced Senior HCA to join our team based in Liverpool, Merseyside , who will ensure a smooth running of the care team and promote person centred care.
Our home is a large 150-bed service. Recently refurbished - it offers bright and modern bedrooms - each equipped with an en-suite. Large communal areas offer a comfortable living alongside with an in-house bar . The residents can relax in a generous garden, which they beautify on a regular basis by planting flowers. Assisted by suggestions from the residents, Wellbeing Coordinators organise a varied year-round programme of things to do.
A typical day will involve:
- Assisting residents with personal care duties such as bathing, dressing, toileting and incontinence care. Providing the highest standards of care, you'll champion the dignity, and independence of all our residents
- Provide leadership and support for care staff and act as a champion for residents' safety and dignity.
- Supporting at mealtimes: serving meals and transferring residents to the dining room. This might involve supporting them to walk, transferring them in a wheelchair or using a hoist
- Liaise with GPs and other health professionals to ensure that residents receive the medical and clinical support they require
- Support new Team Leaders and care staff in the completion of induction programs, training and competency assessment.
- Admin duties: updating food, fluid and stool charts, supplementary files, daily notes and care plans
- Administering and recording medication as prescribed, with accurate monitoring of drug dose to the residents in the home
