Who we are looking for
We are looking to recruit, select and train someone for a permanent position of Fire Warden that possesses a high level of physical fitness, combined with a suitable standard of academic ability to form part of our Emergency Fire Team based at the RVI Hospital.
This exciting role for the successful applicant offers potential development opportunities to progress into other roles at Newcastle Airport within the Fire Service and Airside Operations department.
Initial training will consist of both practical and theoretical inputs aimed at developing the recruit to a level that enables them to fully contribute to the operation of a helipad, to include the successful resolution of an emergency situation.
As a Fire Warden you will be expected to rigorously comply with all operational instructions, maintain a high degree of physical fitness and through a system of refresher training, to ensure that your technical competence is maintained to the standards demanded of the role.
