What you will be doing:
You will report directly into the Regulatory and Reporting Manager, working side by side in assisting with regulatory reporting. You will also be working closely with the wider Financial Control team where you will assist them with month end accounting activities, including testing and validation of key estimates and judgements.
In this role your key responsibility is to assist with the delivery of annual statutory accounts and quarterly group reporting requirements for the UK Lending group of companies, including audit liaison. To include transfer of financial data onto the OneSource system and calculation of key disclosure items.
You will also be responsible for preparing regulatory information on a monthly and quarterly basis for transmission to FCA and for production of information to support tax computations, liaising with the tax advisors to ensure delivery of tax computations.
Knowledge:
- Experience in producing statutory accounts (entity or consolidated) is required with IFRS experience preferred.
- Understanding of regulatory reporting or of tax computations would be advantageous but not essential.
- Financial services experience is preferred.
Competencies:
- Drive and attention to detail, with a “hands on” approach.
- Strong analytical skills, including complex formulae in Excel.

- You will “take ownership” of the responsibilities allocated to you and ensure delivery is achieved.
- Able to work under pressure and to deal with multiple tasks efficiently and to tight deadlines.
- Works well across a range of teams and activities.
Qualifications:
- Recently qualified / finalist ACA or ACCA accountant will be considered providing appropriate experience can be demonstrated.
