As the Procurement Officer you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a cross functional and consistent procurement process, from identification of tenders through to successful selection. As part of the role, based out of our main warehouse, you will be the first point of call for visiting contractors, liaising with them as required, should members of the facilities team not be available.
Review potential options in the target marketplace, against a standard set of guiding principles, working with the businesses SME and selecting a number of panellists to invite to tender.
Play a key role in supporting and assisting the team in obtaining information in preparation for tender, reporting on the GNFR category overall spend, gathering data and reporting on supplier performance against agreed KPI’s.
Alongside this you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of cost against GNFR lines, working to improve spend and to create visibility and clarity for across all business areas (Head Office, Retail and the Warehouses).
The Team
It's an exciting time to join our Facilities team at Footasylum. We've brought our facilities management function in-house and are having a group wide approach across our business to ensure that the facilities within our retail and Warehousing depot's are led with a strategic lens to meet cost efficiencies and our Net Zero targets.
About You
Experienced in managing cost lines, including end-to-end sign off and processes aligned to the delivery of the procurement process across head office, retail estate and warehousing. Owning the preparation for monthly meetings, creating slides and delivering presentations with confidence.
Ideally you will have lead a team and overseen reporting for tender purposes and able to analyse data for supplier performance purposes alongside reporting on GNFR spend.
Confident and able to build and establish new and existing client and supplier relationships. Able to read and analyse data and clear on how to report back findings and can challenge the norm to ensure new and innovative ideas are explored within the procurement space.
