Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and submission of the Group's annual and interim financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and VAT regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of Assistant Accountants, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and professional development.
- Collaborate with other finance departments to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and reporting regulations, implementing necessary updates to financial reporting processes.
- Manage and review financial data, investigating discrepancies and proposing corrective actions where necessary.
- Work closely with the Finance Director and other stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations on financial performance and reporting matters.
- Implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting procedures and enhance efficiency.
- ACCA,ACA,CIMA Qualified is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, preferably within a corporate environment or public accounting firm.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and reporting regulations (IFRS, GAAP, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
