Job description

You are an experienced financial professional with a passion for accuracy, compliance, and leading a team to success, We have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Reporting Manager to join a leading organisation and take charge of the Group's annual and interim financial reporting. This is a key leadership role, where you will be responsible for managing a small team of Assistant Accountants and ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of the Group's annual and interim financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and VAT regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Assistant Accountants, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and professional development.
  • Collaborate with other finance departments to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and reporting regulations, implementing necessary updates to financial reporting processes.
  • Manage and review financial data, investigating discrepancies and proposing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Work closely with the Finance Director and other stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations on financial performance and reporting matters.
  • Implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting procedures and enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
  • ACCA,ACA,CIMA Qualified is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, preferably within a corporate environment or public accounting firm.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and reporting regulations (IFRS, GAAP, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
