Restructuring & Forensics

In Restructuring & Forensics we focus on supporting our clients through the Protect and Recover stages of the business cycle. We combine restructuring services such as financial restructuring, liability restructuring and corporate simplification with Digital and Forensic Investigations and Financial Crime teams. We support clients in stress or distress situations, seeking to support them to respond, restructure and transform, as well as prepare for, respond to and emerge stronger from a wide range of business risks and issues.. We could be involved in any one, or all of these types of engagements.


This is a part time role. PwC supports flexible working and allows you to work in a way that suits you and your personal priorities while meeting our clients’ high expectations.

The role responsibilities will include the following:

  • Managing projects including project delivery, budget and risk

  • Actively contributing on client-facing project work, being self-staring and motivated to produce the required high standard of deliverables

  • Developing and owning Financial Crime propositions and delivery methodologies related to sanctions

  • Building and maintaining relationships both internally within the PwC network and externally with clients

  • Assisting sales through work on bids, proposal responses and developing opportunities

  • Coaching junior team members and reviewing their output

  • Drafting client deliverables

  • Proactively suggesting better / more efficient ways to deliver our work

Essential skills and experience

  • Knowledge of the relevant Financial Services regulations in the UK, US, and ideally another jurisdictions in relation to Sanctions

  • Experience with assessing, implementing and/or optimising Sanctions technologies (HotScan, Fico, Fircosoft, Lexis Nexis, Actimize, Oracle OWS, BAE Systems, etc.)

  • Experience in the processes required to manage a Sanctions screening platform

  • Advanced data analytics techniques, using platforms such as SQL, SAS, SPSS, R

  • Experience in visualisation products such as Tableau and QlikView and Advanced MS Excel (VBA and macros)

  • A proven track record in winning new engagements/clients and identifying new opportunities with existing clients.

  • The ability to make new contacts, listen to their needs and interpret this to provide new opportunities to assist them

  • Track record of managing data project delivery and project teams
