Job description
Corporate Finance Analyst
Location: Central London
Job Purpose
Working with the CFO, Global Head of Corporate Finance & Treasury, the Head of Structured Finance and other key stakeholders, the Corporate Finance Analyst will be accountable for identifying, implementing, managing and maintaining financing arrangements, developing, improving and running the corporate cash flow models and managing data and information flows for investors, banks and other counterparties.
Principal Responsibilities
Integrate existing corporate models and develop as necessary to provide a fully flexible corporate financial model for the Group and separate parts of the Group (including interaction with FP&A, Trading and Risk), and use this to provide regular reports and insight to senior management and respond to questions from investors, banks, ratings agencies and other counterparties
- Provide investment advice, tactics and recommendations
- Support funding projects from banks and other funding sources, including structuring and execution
- Managing data requests, collation and interpretation
- Source information from within the organisation, understand and model business drivers
- Use complex financial modelling to predict outcomes
- Carry out in depth-research of energy industry specifics
- Liaise with all parties involved in transactions and assist with negotiations
- Assess and predict financial risks and returns
- Assist in liaising with accountants, lawyers, financial experts and regulatory bodies
- Assist with credit rating analysis and rating agency interactions
- Develop and create presentation about the Group for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide financial presentations to key stakeholders
Qualifications
Degree-educated
- Accounting or financial qualification preferred (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CFA qualified)

Knowledge & Experience
Strong financial modelling skills- Excellent project management skills
- Three years of experience in corporate finance, ideally a mix of industry and banking/consultancy
- Experience in analysing and interpreting financial statements
- Oil/Energy sector experience is an advantage but not essential
