What you can expect:
- Supporting Business Partner & analysts with regular weekly / monthly / quarterly / annual reporting
- Assisting Retail team with Daily and Weekly sales reporting, along with Quarterly store targets
- Produce monthly store performance reporting, to be shared with stores and key stakeholders within a timely manner
- Assist Retail team with the preparation for Budgets & Forecasts
- Support BP with Budget & Forecast uploads, alongside reporting and data file management
- Assist BP with financial analysis on specific cost and sales analysis, to identify trends and opportunities for improvements. Pro-actively support in the implementation of improvements to processes
- Take ownership of specific cost analysis, while building relationships with budget holders
- Collaborating with cross functional teams to gather financial information and provide insights for decision making
- Produce Store Appraisals for Board Approval
- Assisting in ad hoc analysis depending on projects and requirements
- Responding to ad hoc queries from various stakeholders, providing financial insights and analysis as needed
- Supporting wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks
Your profile:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels within the company.
- Enthusiastic, self-confident and pro-active.
- Strong attention to detail and is very analytical.
- Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and driven to continually improve.
- Professionalism is maintained at all times.
- Able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities successfully.
- Work effectively and efficiently with the ability to establish credibility.
Preferred experience/skills
- Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Preferable background in a retail environment.
- Experience in SAP would be preferable.
