Purpose:
We have an aggressive roadmap and we are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join us on our journey. The purpose of this role is as a critical part of the Finance team, driving insight over the business performance and financial analysis for the venture globally, supporting its success through the delivery of the financial plan.
- Designing, building and implementing MI to support the creation of critical financial insight into the performance of the business.
- Running forecasting processes, working with key stakeholders and managing assumptions to track financial outlook.
- Preparing variance analysis, comparing actuals to plan and forecast with associated commentary and key business drivers.
- Leading the planning exercise in collating required information, assumptions and consolidation
- Partnering with key business stakeholders to support business performance, challenge and return optimisation.
- Support HSBC reporting requirements for reporting and analysis, including system submissions
- Independent self-starter
- Excellent system, database and spreadsheet capabilities
- Experience working in a start-up culture
- Finance functional expertise, including financial modelling, key assumptions, and accounting
- Proven time management and prioritisation capabilities, to be able to manage multiple dynamic deliverables
- Experience working in Financial Services
- Experience in Retail / FX / Payments space
- Combination of skills from working in both FinTech and traditional Banking sectors
- Finance and Accounting Qualifications
