Florida Crystals is a leading domestic sugar producer and North America’s first fully integrated cane sugar company, guiding our sugar from farm to table. We are America’s first and only producer of certified organic sugar, grown and harvested in the United States. OVERVIEW

The Financial Analyst role will report to the Director Corporate Finance. The Financial Analyst will assist in reporting of actual vs budget/forecast, and will support the overall financial planning process. This includes preparing variance analysis and expense forecasts across departments, as well as consolidating and analyzing key operating metrics across divisions. Candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to help meet deadlines and support departmental deliverables.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support planning/forecasting process – on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Leverage financial systems to create and distribute timely reporting of actual performance against budget/forecast
• Provide insightful variance commentary
• Assist in analysis and evaluation of performance metrics across various operational divisions
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and general planning support as needed
• Gather, review, and consolidate financial data across multiple divisions/departments for Operating, Capital, and General & Administrative budgets
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems desirable

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting
• 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis/accounting

ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel including financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and pivot tables
• Knowledge and Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required
• Strong communication skills a must and the ability to interact with all departments within the organization
• Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills
• Candidate should be a proactive self-starter; strong collaboration skills and high accountability standards required

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with a “Can Do” attitude
