What does the role look like?

The Wolverhampton site is a c. $550m turnover business within Actuation Systems, the principal business and products are organised into 4 value streams: High-Lift, Nacelles, Military and Aftermarket.

The Composites value stream is a c. $25m turnover business within Actuation Systems based at the Banbury site and manufactures composite aerospace products.

This role will focus on the Nacelles and Composites value streams.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

• Reporting of monthly results, providing supporting analyses and other routine reporting to senior leadership including variance to Plan and latest business forecasts

• Prepare inputs for the monthly forecast, annual Plan and Strategic plans ensuring alignment in the business and associated supporting analyses with rigour and challenge

• Evaluate and understand manufacturing and supply chain performance through variance analysis (e.g. POV, PPV) and seek to interpret and articulate trends, provide management information and data to support business insight and cost reduction actions ongoing

• Carry out functional cost reviews for manufacturing and SG&A areas, challenge performance and identify opportunities for improvement

• Preparation of standard costing and pricing updates in line with process

• Prepare and analyse daily / monthly tracking of financial sales and gross margin performance

• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

• Adhere to internal financial control policies and procedures consistent with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, international accounting standards and all applicable international legal and statutory requirements in place.

• Comply with all accounting policies, procedures and financial reporting timetables.

• Response to ad-hoc reporting requests and queries

Essential skills:

• Qualified or Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)

• Highly IT literate with experience in SAP preferable
