Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm
Job Purpose
As the Head of Demand and Planning, your role is crucial in supporting our Logistics strategy and driving business growth. You'll collaborate internally and externally, upholding high KPI standards across the business.
The role and responsibilities:
· Team building, leadership, and motivation.
· You'll conduct performance reviews, set objectives, and provide coaching to achieve success.
· Creating and managing long-term strategic goals will be key, aiming for industry-leading KPIs and exceptional service.
· Managing projects across the supply chain, you'll engage with teams, departments, and stakeholders.
· Operating with integrity, you'll maintain a trusted supply chain reputation, proactively engaging with 3PL and suppliers to balance needs and ensure inventory efficiency.
· Guiding and supporting the BM Planning team, you'll ensure compliance with competition law.
· Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, projects, and personal development goals will be critical, providing updates to management.
· Continual improvement and innovation will drive optimization and adaptability to evolving demands.
· Taking ownership of health and safety practices, you'll enforce policies, ensure compliance, conduct inspections, and manage risk.
Key Skills, Experience and Knowledge
· Strong communications skills, and a proven ability to lead
· In this critical role, you will leverage your 5+ years of senior leadership experience in a complex food production and/or FMCG to drive operational excellence and optimise customer satisfaction.
· Experience in food production would be advantageous.
· Your strong business acumen and commercial skills will be instrumental in shaping strategic decision-making and contributing to the company's growth.
· As a natural leader with excellent people management abilities, you will inspire, develop, and guide your teams to reach their full potential.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, will enable you to effectively analyse data and generate valuable insights. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will allow you to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimise supply chain operations.
· With excellent communication skills at all levels, you will collaborate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and senior management.
· degree or equivalent education, along with formal supply chain qualifications, would be preferred, highlighting your commitment to professional development.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £60,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
