Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Lead Financial Analyst located in London, UK through August 04, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.
The Midstream Finance department provides core financial processes which includefinancial analysis, decision support,controls development and preparation and review of financial statements.. The team work closely with Supply & Trading, Partner organisations (e.g. Legal Tax, Treasury), and the Finance Shared Service Centres in Manila and Buenos Aires.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Prepares monthly, quarterly and ad hoc financial and management reports which include Earnings, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, General & Administrative and Trade Sales, Commentary analysis
Presents earnings/business performance analysis to Finance and Trading Management
Provides guidance and support to finance analysts on function code/cost centre/structure reporting and general front office queries
Assists with preparation of annual Business Plan
Acts as primary contact for finance for non-routine matters. E.g. process changes, forecasts, implementation of new accounting processes and policies
Highlights accounting policy changes that impact the recording and reporting of trading related transactions
Liaison with external and internal auditors
Assists with preparation and review of statutory accounts
Represents Europe Midstream Finance on global and regional projects and initiatives
Leads and participates in complex projects
Implements process efficiencies through standardisation and automation Develops complex financial models
Assists with development and testing of internal controls
Power User for finance and business applications
Relocation Options:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
International Considerations:
Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
