Plassey Leisure Park, a family-owned and run company is recruiting for Bar/Waiting on staff

Nestled in 250 acres of park and woodland in the picturesque Dee Valley, North Wales, our luxury holiday park is more than just somewhere to stay. We have everything guests need to make their holiday outstanding.

Set in beautiful parkland and surrounded by trees, ponds, and streams, we are looking for individuals to work in our food and beverage establishments. You will be dedicated to delivering impeccable customer service and ensuring that guests expectations are exceeded.

The Role

You will deliver impeccable customer service to members, customers, guests and visitors to the holiday park. We offer a wide range of food and beverages and aim to offer high quality food and impeccable services to all.

You will strive to provide a warm, friendly and efficient service to our guests, ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered and maintained at all times in line with our guest’s expectations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for all our guests
• Familiarise yourself with the menu and as much information about the food and beverage offering available in order to answer any questions a guest may have and make recommendations.
• Ensure that all guests requests are responded to promptly and effectively and an exceptional service that is above and beyond expectations is delivered at all times.
• Take food and beverage orders and ensure that all orders are communicated to the kitchen promptly and accurately and beverages are served in a timely manner.
• Ensure an efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is maintained at all times.
• Set up, clear and promptly service tables after use to ensure guests can be seated in a timely manner.
• Assist in the set up and preparation, and provide service duties for functions as required.
• Ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in line with agreed procedures.
• Cleaning duties to ensure that the highest hygiene standards are maintained and that the bar, front of house and restaurant area are clean, tidy and welcoming at all times.
• Any other duties as directed by the Operations Manager or other member of the management team.

Salary exceeds National Minimum Wage.

• Greeting and seating customers
• Taking orders for food and drink
• Serving food
• Serving alcohol
• Cleaning and resetting tables with dishes, glasses, and flatware as needed
• Answering phone calls
• Placing take-away orders
• Prep or side work
• Preparing cheques and processing payments
• Assisting kitchen with plating and garnishing menu items as needed
• Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitising, sweeping floors, washing dishes, etc.
• Reconciling daily cash transactions
