About The Role
As a Senior Finance Analyst at ASOS you will have responsibility for helping to deliver financial and business plans. You will be partnering with the business and other finance teams to deliver accurate budgets, forecasts and reporting. You will be a fundamental part of the wider finance team and will help contribute to the success of both finance and ASOS.

What you will be doing..
This is a Commercial finance role, focused on the payment options available to customers at checkout.
- Operating as the key finance support for the Payments (Transaction Costs) team, working closely with senior management across the Payments, Payments Tech and Trade teams to develop business cases to assess the viability of new initiatives, for example fee negotiations and launching new payment methods in new markets
- Working closely with the Payments team to develop budgets and quarterly reforecasts, while maintaining a strong level of scrutiny to ensure costs remain controlled
- Providing monthly variance reporting to your manager and to FP&A
- Working closely with the Payments team to set strategic direction and develop a longer-term plan for Payments across key markets and all products (e.g., Card Payments, Alternative Payment Methods (e.g., Klarna, PayPal) and Gift Cards)
- Driving continuous improvement in transaction cost reporting (e.g., trends in payment mix and customer behaviour) in order to provide the Payments team with the best-quality data for decision making

Experience
- An accounting qualification (preferably CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
- Business partnering experience
- A proven ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines
- A strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Advanced skills in Excel
- A high standard of accuracy with financial and statistical data
- An ability to organise own work and to take initiative
- An ability to determine insightful observations from detail for management attention
- Commercial awareness
- Good communication/ interpersonal and influencing skills
- A flexible approach and open to change
- Pro-activeness
Skills
- Team player who works for the success of the wider team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change and deal with high volumes of information
