Job description
A Financial Accountant is required to work for a small Family Office based in Victoria for a 3 month temporary role. This is a remote role with occasional travel to the office to assist the finance team to finish their consolidated year end accounts. This Family Office has three main business ventures within student accommodation, energy and live music events.
You will be responsible for assisting in the completion and collation of year end accounts within the business to IFRS102 standards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing year end accounts in Excel
- Adjusting year end accounts and complete the trial balance
- Produce draft set of accounts
- Internal business partnering
- Adhoc financial reporting
- Using Sage & Excel systems proficiently
The successful candidate will be either qualified or have QBE status and prior experience of financial accounting. They will also have good communication skills and working for high net worth individuals is a bonus.
