The Role*
We are looking for a dedicated resource for the creation, development, implementation, documentation and maintenance of PRS’ dedicated planning, forecasting and reporting systems for FP&A team (IBM Planning Analytics).
Responsibilities:As our Finance Systems Analyst, some of your day to day duties will include….

Oversee and lead on key TM1 development and general BAU.
- Ownership of interface between TM1 and other finance systems
- Responsible for maintenance and update of finance areas within other IT related forums such as Sharepoint
- Provide system support and assist in the wider FP&A responsibilities to ensure timely availability of data and meeting deadlines.
- Initiate discussions and drive continuous improvement in system related financial reporting
- Regular liaison with all areas of finance to identify any system improvements
- Review and maintain controls around finance systems
- Liaise with finance team members to identify additional reporting needs
- Lead on feedback sessions post Budget & Forecast cycles with regards to finance systems
- Support FP&A team during reporting cycles in creation and update of Perspective tables and charts

A high level of academic achievement or equivalent relevant finance work experience.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Cognos10 development
- Experience of using Visual Basic for Applications for the creation and maintenance of solutions to enhance business processes.
- Experience of working with/within finance and FP&A teams.
- Knowledge of working with any third-party TM1 monitoring tool like Pulse, in addition to IBM’s Operations Console.
- Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Office packages to advanced level, particularly Excel with VBA.
- Experience of retrieving, manipulating and analysing data from ODBC data sources using SQL, and general understanding of relational database concepts.
- Research, analytical and problem solving skills, with an ability to develop creative, practical and pragmatic solutions to business opportunities and problems.
- Demonstrable communication skills, and experience of rapport building.
- Demonstrable experience of customer service skills.
- Experience of delivering high quality reporting to all organisational levels.
- Experience of undertaking TM1 upgrades; especially interested in upgrades to Planning & Analysis for Excel and Workspace from IBM Planning Analytics 2.0.8.
- Exposure to IBM Cognos BI desirable, but not essential.

- Second stage interview in person at our London Bridge Hub.
