Job description
Main Purpose
To take day to day operational responsibility for all financial matters relating to personal health budgets, liaising with users and commissioners accordingly and producing accurate data in a timely manner for cashflow forecasting and reporting.
This is a permanent fulltime role at 37 hours per week, but part time applications will be considered on a job share basis.
Responsibilities of Job
· Preparing and producing monthly Profit & Loss statements
· Balance sheet reconciliations
· HMRC and Companies House submissions, incl. VAT Returns, Confirmation Statements etc
· Credit card reconciliations
· Corporate bank reconciliations
· Posting local authority invoices – Essex, Oxford, Cambridge (Old and New), Nottingham (County and City), Leicester (Children and PHB)
· PHB Quarterly invoices
· Raising & authorising bank payments
· Intercompany bank transfers and corresponding Sage Journals
· Uploading and updating direct debit payments from Cambridge customers
· Raising Offer to Business invoices
· Credit control
· Client account queries
· International payments
· Supplier set up forms
· Private client invoices
· Any other adhoc tasks
Person Specification
· Eligible to work in the UK
· Good knowledge of financial and management accounting
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Knowledge of computerised accounting systems, including SAGE
· Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
· Excellent numeracy and computer literacy skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently and prioritise work in order to ensure competing deadlines are met
· AAT or book keeping qualification or a commitment to undertaking the training
