We are looking for a Finance Officer who is part of a Finance team that makes a difference.
A Snapshot of Your Day
You will be a key part of the Finance team performing invoicing, accounting and reporting activities in all areas of finance for the Siemens Energy Connectors business. How You’ll Make an Impact As a key member of the Finance team you will be responsible for:
Cost centre monitoring, controlling and forecasting for areas of responsibility, including deviations and corrective measures / actions- Performing month end closing tasks eg stock and debt provisions and reconciliations to ensure that the financial results are accurate
- Performing invoicing and associated export controlling activities
- Provide support with ad hoc reporting for cash collection and receivables analysis
- Supporting fixed asset verification and controlling activities
- Supporting the calculation of overhead and labour rates and cost allocations annually
- Monthly internal controls for area of responsibility
- Providing information for internal and external audit requests
- Processes within area of responsibility
- Decision making in areas of responsibility
- Take part in business improvement activities, as assigned
- Managing and continually improving productivity
Your Profile
Experience of company accounting and controlling system including cost elements, chart of accounts, closing procedures
· Knowledge of manufacturing and service business · Spiridon (SAP) experience
· Awareness of a compliance and internal controls framework · IFRS knowledge
- Contract terms and conditions
- Treasury principles (hedging and bank guarantees)
