Venture Recruitment Partners are assisting a sector leading corporate based in Southampton in their search for an FP&A Manager, following a recent internal promotion. There will be an expectation to be in the offices at least two days a week.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with Senior Manager, support the delivery of planning, performance reporting and analysis.
• Analysis and insight to key performance drivers with clear, concise insightful Executive commentary.
• Provide ad-hoc consolidated analysis and insight to support decision making.
• Support other areas of the business performance agenda as required including Month End reporting, in year Forecasting, Strategic and Operating Plans.
• Recommend and drive continuous improvements to the functionality and capability of financial reporting systems to increase efficiency, analytic capability and insight.
• Oversee the governance and maintenance of data and reports used for management performance reporting, ensuring compliance with business rules.
• Input and support to Finance and other business change projects as required.
• Manage and develop direct report.

You will have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Experience of working in a management reporting, planning or analytics function.
• Commercial awareness with ability to analyse complex financial data and convert to meaningful business information.
• Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines.
• Proactive, problem solver with the ability to add value.
