Job description
Reporting to the Senior Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with Senior Manager, support the delivery of planning, performance reporting and analysis.
- Analysis and insight to key performance drivers with clear, concise insightful Executive commentary.
- Provide ad-hoc consolidated analysis and insight to support decision making.
- Support other areas of the business performance agenda as required including Month End reporting, in year Forecasting, Strategic and Operating Plans.
- Recommend and drive continuous improvements to the functionality and capability of financial reporting systems to increase efficiency, analytic capability and insight.
- Oversee the governance and maintenance of data and reports used for management performance reporting, ensuring compliance with business rules.
- Input and support to Finance and other business change projects as required.
- Manage and develop direct report.
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience of working in a management reporting, planning or analytics function.
- Commercial awareness with ability to analyse complex financial data and convert to meaningful business information.
- Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines.
- Proactive, problem solver with the ability to add value.
